No Purchase or Payment Necessary to Enter or Win

The EXPLORE THE IMPOSSIBILITIES SWEEPSTAKES ("Sweepstakes") begins at 9:00 am ET on July 17, 2008 and ends 12:00 pm ET on July 30, 2008.  Sweepstakes is sponsored by Fox Broadcasting Company, 10201 West Pico Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90035 ("Sponsor").

1.  ELIGIBILITY.  Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older and not a minor in his/her state of residence at the time of his/her registration, and who have internet access as of July 16, 2008.  Employees, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives of Sponsor, or of the promotion and advertising agencies of Sponsor, and their immediate family members and those living in their household, and each person or entity connected with the production, administration or judging of the Sweepstakes, and each parent company, affiliate, subsidiary, agent and representative of any aforementioned entity are not eligible.  Sweepstakes void where prohibited or restricted and outside of the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii.

2.  HOW TO ENTER.  NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter, visit exploretheimpossibilities.com link to the sweepstakes page and provide your full name, age, e-mail address, full mailing address, and telephone number with area code. Limit one entry per person and per e-mail address.  If multiple entries are received, only the first will be eligible.  Multiple entries or entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified.  Each entrant must be the rightful owner (or have authorized use) of the e-mail address identified in the entrant’s entry as of July 16, 2008.  In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner, the winner will be deemed to be the person in whose name the e-mail account governing the e-mail address was opened.  Entrants must provide all information requested to be eligible to win.  Incomplete, unreadable, or unintelligible entries will be disqualified.  All entries must be received 12:00 pm ET on July 30, 2008.  All information provided by entrants becomes the property of Sponsor, and will be used solely in connection with the Sweepstakes, in accordance with applicable law.

3.  SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS.   From among all of the eligible entries received, one (1) grand prize winner will be selected in a random drawing by Sponsor or its designee during the week of July 30, 2008. All decisions are final in all matters relating to Sweepstakes.  The selected winners will be required to respond to the e-mail notification within 72 hours of attempted notification.  The failure to respond timely to the notification will result in forfeiture of the applicable prize and, in such case, Sponsor will select an alternate winner from among the remaining eligible entries. The e-mail notification will also include an affidavit of eligibility/liability/publicity release ("Release").  Unless restricted by law, a selected winner and his/her guest will be required to complete and return the Release within the time period specified therein.  The prize will be forfeited and, in such case, an alternate winner will be selected from among the remaining eligible entries in the order in which they were received if a selected winner: (i) cannot be reached; (ii) fails to obtain all signatures on the Release(s) and to return them as required pursuant to these Official Rules; or (iii) cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason.

4.  PRIZES. 

One (1) grand prize winner will receive a trip for two (2) to New York City from August 24 – 26, 2008, consisting of: (i) round-trip, coach-class air transportation for two (2) from the major airport with regularly scheduled flights closest to the winner’s permanent residence to New York; (ii) two (2) nights standard hotel accommodations (one triple occupancy room and room tax only, excluding meals, tips, telephones charges, incidentals and all other personal expenses); (iii) ground transportation to and from airport and hotel; and (iv) two (2) tickets to attend the Fringe premiere party on August 25, 2008. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is $1,700 (depending on location of winner’s residence). 

Winner’s guest must be 18 years of age or older unless Winner is the parent or legal guardian of such guest.  Winner and guest must travel on same itinerary, must have valid identification and any other documents necessary for air travel and must be able to travel on dates designated by Sponsor.  Travel is subject to flight and hotel availability, and blackout dates and other travel restrictions may apply. Winner is responsible for all applicable travel and other insurance, all applicable airport charges including, without limitation, any excess baggage charges, airport taxes, fuel charges and any applicable Customs or Federal inspection fees.  Tickets are not transferable, refundable or redeemable.  

Winners will be responsible for any and all federal, state and/or local taxes resulting from acceptance of the prize, and cannot assign or transfer the prize to another person.  No cash or prize substitution is allowed except at the discretion of Sponsor.  All prizes will be awarded.  If a prize cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond the control of Sponsor, a substitute prize of equal or greater retail value will be awarded.

5.  ODDS.  The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

6.  CONDITIONS.  Sweepstakes is subject to these Official Rules.  By participating, entrants agree: (i) to be bound by these complete Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor which shall be final and binding; and (ii) to waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules.  By accepting a prize, winners agree to release Sponsor, Hadley Media, News America, Inc., Warner Bros. Television Production (including the parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities of each), together with the respective directors, employees, officers, licensees, licensors and agents of each, including without limitation, their respective advertising and promotion entities and any person or entity associated with the production, judging, or administration of the Sweepstakes, (collectively, the "Releasees") from any and all liability, loss or damage arising from or in connection with awarding, receipt and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activities.  Sponsor reserves the right to use the Sweepstakes for publicity purposes in any media, and to use the names, likenesses, and hometown names and/or prize information of winners as part of that publicity, without any compensation or prior review unless prohibited by law.  Any such use with respect to minors shall be subject to prior approval of parent or legal guardian.  Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of winner.  This offer is void outside the continental US, Alaska and Hawaii and where prohibited or restricted by law, and subject to applicable federal, state and local laws.    Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or violating these Official Rules. The Releasees shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, stolen, misdirected, postage-due, incomplete unreadable, inaccurate, garbled or unintelligible entries, communications or affidavits, regardless of the method of transmission; (ii) telephone system, telephone or computer hardware, software or other technical or computer malfunctions, lost connections, disconnections, delays or transmission errors; (iii) data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry or other materials; (iv) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of a prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes; or (v) any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes.  Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participating in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with this Sweepstakes, and reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should a virus, bug, computer problem, unauthorized intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control, corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes.  Sponsor may prohibit you from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in their sole discretion, they determine you are attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or any other unfair playing practices of intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other players or Sponsor representatives.  This Sweepstakes will be governed by the internal laws of the State of California.  Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Sweepstakes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States.  CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES.  SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY FEES) TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
